And whatever you do, don’t miss our infamous holiday parades. Marching bands, dance troupes, horses and holiday floats fill the streets during the Christmas Parade. Then there is an evening parade by sea, where boats glide through the waterways all decked out for the season. Hundreds of visitors flock to the “Lighting up Flagler” event, where thousands of lights sparkle, storefronts are beautifully decorated, carolers sing holiday favorites, holiday refreshments are served, and live performances are relished. Then, New Smyrna Beach rings in the New Year with style. Our spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration includes a dazzling fireworks display on Flagler, followed by celebrations at eight different locations!
