Purchase your tasting passport for the muy bueno New Smyrna Beach Cinco de Mayo Taco Challenge & Tequila Walk, taking place on Flagler Avenue from 4-8 pm.

Also on Flagler Avenue, from 5-9 pm on August 7th, The Shrimp & Seafood Festival is where some of the area’s most acclaimed chefs serve up their sample-sized dishes to compete for “Best on the Beach”!

If it is music you crave, gather by the Gazebo any Thursday in July or August to enjoy the free Summer Concert Series at Riverside Park. Or enjoy the Red White and Blue Music Festival which takes place from the Indian River to the Atlantic Ocean and includes three days of music with over 40 free shows performed by live solo performers, jazz trios, sax quartets and large ensembles.

Maybe you are more of a holiday reveler? New Smyrna Beach has got that covered too with the New Smyrna-ween celebration (Party on Flagler!). When Turkey Day rolls around, you can enjoy New Smyrna’s stunning white sandy shore vistas while you run, jog or walk along the Turkey Gobble Wobble 5K on Thanksgiving morning. Then, kick off the Christmas season with Spark the Spirit November 29th from 5-9 pm on historic Canal Street, where Santa will make his grand entrance at the New Smyrna Beach tree lighting ceremony.
